What happens when my policy expires?
When your policy comes up for renewal we’ll contact you 30 days before your expiry date with a reminder.
As part of your renewal we’d love to welcome you over to Simple Landlords Insurance. To make you feel at home your renewed policy will offer the same cover* as your existing GuardStone policy. In fact, you’ll also get the same level of online and offline service, including if you need to make a claim.
To say thank you for renewing with Simple Landlords Insurance we will also offer you an exclusive renewal discount and access to a range of exclusive offers and discounts to help you with everything from attracting tenants to protecting your rental income.
* Cover changes may occur. However we’ll inform you if they do.
Who is my Landlords Insurance policy with?
If you already have a policy with GuardStone then we’re delighted to confirm that your existing policy remains exactly the same. Your existing policy document is still valid and your cover will remain unaffected.
So that means that you still have:
- Unchanged cover and excess levels
- Insurance from Ageas
- Access to your policy online 24/7

Can I choose the level of my excess?
Yes. With GuardStone, you are able to choose your level of excess, which means you can often reduce your premium if it suits you to do so.
